PRE AND POST NATAL
Antenatal
Exercise can help with almost all common pregnancy complaints. Keeping fit can help you look and feel great, prepare you for labour and improve foetal development. Pregnancy is one of the most physically testing times in a woman’s life and fitness and keeping good health are extremely important.
Research has proven that women who exercise in pregnancy often feel more physically prepared for the birth and tend to recover more quickly.
A Graham Jones Personal Training exercise program will help you to keep up your energy levels during pregnancy and help prevent excessive weight gain. It will also help you maintain a good, strong posture as well as minimising swelling and circulatory problems.
Postnatal
If you have had a straightforward non-Caesarean delivery, it’s usually safe to do moderate exercise five weeks following the birth and by nine weeks you can begin to step up the pace a bit and get back into a specific exercise routine.
A Graham Jones Personal Training exercise program will start to help you get back your aerobic fitness and gradually increase the intensity to get the body back you had before the pregnancy.
